Placed right in the heart of Point Cruz in Honiara, the 15 meter (50 feet 7 meter) high Our Telekom Christmas tree has over the past week attracted hundreds of visitors in the evenings.

Many come just to take photos with the tree and also enjoy the feel of Christmas with families, friends and the general public.

Its glimmering lights are also one of the most standout attractions that has captivated many, with the Our Telekom office at Point Cruz packed with people almost every evening over the past days.

 “This is the second year running that Our Telekom has put up this enormous tree for the public,” a Telekom staff said.

“This however is the first time that people have crowded up just to take photos and get the feel of having a huge tree in their midst,” he added.

Meanwhile, along with this attraction, foods and drinks are also being sold each night under the Christmas tree.
