ANZ announces new brand campaign here

03 October 2015

ANZ last week announced a new direction for its advertising in Solomon Islands connected to the bank’s global brand campaign launched in May this year.

The announcement was made last week by ANZ CEO Solomon Islands, Geoffrey Buchanan, at a customer event held to officially open ANZ Solomon Islands’ new head office in Ranadi, Honiara.

ANZ CEO Solomon Islands, Geoffrey Buchanan said:

“To ensure our advertising continues to be relevant to our customers across our Group, we have evolved how we present our brand to our customers and the market with a new tagline, new refreshed content and updated styling elements.

“With the refreshed tag line of ‘Your World, Your Way’, our focus is to help you live the life you want.  Our role is to put you first, make things easy for you and to share our expertise and connections with you so we’re able to provide the focus you need.”

ANZ has continued the evolution of its brand through its new global advertising campaign which features powerful vignettes of individuals who have been pioneers in their given field and achieved extraordinary feats.

The new campaign is about empowering customers to seize opportunities and shape the world they aspire to live in, and is positioned to be more relevant to the bank’s increasingly global customer base.

Those featured in the campaign include Lydia Ko – youngest ever world No.1 professional golfer, Nolan Bushnell - founder of Atari and Dr Rebecca Lee - first woman to visit the North Pole, South Pole and Mt Everest.

The campaign features a diverse range of people from all over the world who each have an inspiring story about how they challenged the status quo to succeed in their field and make the world a better place.

“These are stories that we think all our customers can relate to and draw inspiration from, whether from Solomon Islands or any of the 34 countries where ANZ has a presence,” said Mr Buchanan.

New brand signage is being progressively rolled out across the Solomon Islands and new advertisements aired on local television.

ANZ has been in Solomon Islands for close to 50 years and has the largest geographical footprint of any bank in the Pacific, with a presence in Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, Fiji, Cook Islands, Kiribati, Tonga, Samoa, American Samoa, Guam, Timor Leste and a representative office in New Caledonia.
