12 February 2014

Night goers will now have the benefit of enjoying a lot of new programmes at Club HP, Heritage Park Hotel.

As from Monday 17th February 2014 there will be the pool competitions open for companies and other organizations to take part.

These will be the doubles and to be played in pools guaranteeing each team more than a couple of games.

On Tuesdays will be the pool singles competitions and again the players will be divided into pools. winners and runner ups in each pool will proceed on to the next stage.

Eventual winners in each category will be declared the champions of the week and will be subjected to challenges from other players the following week.
Only the fittest will successfully defend their crown as organizers are anticipating tough matches engaging players who have been in the game for the last 20 years.

The matches are designed to be both exciting and challenging and intended to divide the “men” from the “boys”.

They aren’t meant for the new comers and definitely not intended for the “kids”.

To supplement the pool games on every Monday starting 7pm will be featuring country music from the likes of Tom Jones, Elvis Presley, Don Williams, Kenny Rogers and many more big names.

So the country music lovers can now enjoy their beer with the sound of good country music.

And on Tuesdays will be featured the Island music selected from right across the Pacific including Polynesia, Micronesia and Melanesia.

It will be the “Pacific Night” when our friends from Pacific Island Countries come together, meet friends and enjoy the true Pacific Tunes.

Starting February 20th and every Thursday from then onwards will be the “Sportsmen’s Night” enabling national sporting federations to use the club venue to conduct their fundraising activities towards the 2015 Pacific Games to be held in Port Moresby, PNG.

The official launching night to be attended by various dignitaries from the Government and the Private Sector will be held on Thursday 20th February 2014.

Solomon Islands Table Tennis Federation is the first to take advantage of this opportunity and they will be conducting their programmes on Thursday the 27th.
