Namo confirmed he has kicked off training with the team and is impressed with the feedback from players.
“I have the honour to take the North Guadalcanal constituency team for the upcoming Guadalcanal Cup.
“We are running against time in our preparation but I am impressed with the way these boys are responding.
“All of them are working very hard.
“We did our fitness yoyo test level and it was good, we will take a break and will resume back training on Monday next week,” he said.
Namo is not new to the Guadalcanal football community.
He has proven himself to be a good coach having successfully led Numbu School and Guadalcanal youth teams in previous competitions.
Meanwhile, other constituencies around Guadalcanal are also gearing up preparation for the tournament.
The Guadalcanal Cup tournament is set to kick off on November 2nd.
