Prime Minister Manasseh Sogavare has reiterated the Democratic Coalition for Change Government (DCCG) Policy Statement during the graduation ceremony of the Solomon Islands National University (SINU), Friday.
He spoke on the theme “Empowered and Make a Difference”.
Sogavare said that he was not surprised of how the theme coincides well with the DCCG Mission statement.
“It is perhaps no coincidence that the theme empowerment is embedded too in the DCC Government Policy Statement
“The DCCG is determined to bring about positive changes.
“The DCC Government will bring about these changes through effective reform programmes to ensure that Solomon Islanders are governed and empowered to achieve a meaningful quality of life,” Sogavare added.
In the Policy Statement of the DCC Government, it pledges to empower all Solomon Islanders to attain a meaningful quality of life through social and economic reforms.
