THE by-election for ward 2 in Lake Tegano, Renbel Province has been confirmed for July 2.
Renbel Province Collin Singamoana Tesu’atai confirmed this to the Solomon Star.
Mr Tesu’atai said, the by-election should be held this month but due to work commitment between the provincial government and ministry it was extended.
“I would like to tell each voter in ward 2 of Lake Tegano that the by-election has been confirmed for July 2.
“Therefore I call on each voter in the ward to start decide on who will be your next provincial leader and vote wisely during the election,” Premier said.
Its understood that former Renbel Premier, Lence Tangosia will contest the by-election.
