Dear Editor – During the beginning of the year when the former PS of Mines and Energy was axed for defending his ministry amidst the controversial Bintang mining issue; Sasako as the media consultant arrogantly came out in the media and defended the DCC government decision; telling the country that the government had the power to ‘hire and fire’ its servants under any circumstances.
On the issue of MPs entitlement and tax free, Sasako again defended the government; that MPs deserved the increase entitlement and the tax free for being hard working.
To support the MPs entitlement, Sasako imprudently, came out in the media and deceptively; announced that the country had enormous budget surplus in the first and second quarter of this year just to prove his self-justifying on government unnecessary spending.
What a fool to count chicks before they are hatched!
More recently, when the government politicized the disaster fund to award to MPs; Sasako came out in the media and fortified the government decision that the government had the right to do so given the precedence set by the previous Lilo-led government – misusing the previous tsunami fund.
Wow, beggars have no choice; as bread and butter worth more than his integrity. Let alone a former columnist!
Earlier this week, when he was axed, he was fighting tirelessly in the media – blaming the deputy PM for engineering his early exit.
What a hypocrite, you told the country early this year that the government had the power to hire and fire its servants. What makes you think that you are an exception? What goes around comes around, my friend. What do you expect? Feathers?
He went on further claiming that he had the ‘pen that is mightier than sword’ in which he claimed to use it in the course of history to gain his reputation as a character-assassinate journo who never had his facts right before publishing.
The question is why barking out loud when you used to put your tail behind your legs when the DCC government gave you rotten bones to feed on over the last 6 months?
Sasako, the citizens of this country did not trust your pen anymore or even believed from your cheap pen.
Where have you been when the country needed answers to the continuous strings of controversial issues occurred under your nose in the last 6 months as a media consultant?
We have principles and integrity to uphold and that makes us differ; we have a national duty to do that is to continue to fight for what is right for the 80% of poor rural population of the country.
You are not one of us but rather an opportunists; you already sold your integrity and even the rights of every citizen of this country when you defended the corrupt political decisions of DCC with pride. The country don’t need you!
After defending all these continuous strings of controversial issues; yet you called your pen mightier than sword?
You already betrayed the citizens of the country over the past 6 months. You already showed your true colours and truly you are wolf in a sheep skin.
My advice to you my friend, don’t pollute the media with your character–assassinated journalism just because you are fired.
Like you rightly stated earlier this year the government had the legal right to hire and fire.
By the way, what is the role of media consultant when there was a PMO Press Secretary? Maybe the government had realized – tax payers’ money wasted on your salary for doing nothing.
Remember, you are just one of the political appointees filling the gaps.
It’s right time for you to go home and leave the young qualified and professional journos to contribute to the nation-building of this country.
