Green Tourism Solomon Island Ltd will inspect all accommodations in Taro, Choiseul province.
This will happen on Wednesday says Managing Director of Green Tourism, Michael Tokuru.
The inspection is part of improving tourism services in the province and to ensure that most of the accommodations are up to standard.
“The inspection will be based on the tourism standard since most accommodations in the country are not up to the standard.
“Therefore the inspection that will be conducted by the company is basically to inspect the accommodation facilities and recommend them to operators for quality tourism standard,” Mr Tokuru said.
About nine accommodations are being established in taro will be inspected.
Officials from the firm will travel to Taro this morning to conduct a training.
They will return Sunday next week.
