MOBILE services in Noro, Western Province is expected to be restored soon after a new tower was constructed.
For several weeks, network coverage within the township including cannery has been disrupted which also affected business houses.
Just this week Our Telekom has successfully completed the tower that should enable network coverage in Noro in the coming days.
Our Telekom Public Relation Officer Lawrence Nodua told the Solomon Star yesterday said, the tower has been completed this week and customers should expect improvement in services once it comes on air.
“A team to install the network should arrive in Noro this week or early next week to fix the network problem.”
The new tower once operational would increase coverage around the township.
