A total of 585 police recruitment candidates have successfully passed the interview stage of the Royal Solomon Islands Police Force (RSIPF) Recruitment Campaign 2025/2026 and will now proceed to the Entry Physical Fitness Test, marking the fourth and final stage of the recruitment process.
The RSIPF announced that the fitness test will commence this Saturday 7 February 2026 at the Rove Police Sports Ground, Rove Police Headquarters in Honiara.
Due to the large number of candidates, all shortlisted applicants are required to report to the venue between 5am and 6am for a mandatory pre-test briefing.
RSIPF emphasized that attendance at the briefing is compulsory for all successful candidates from Honiara and the provinces, noting that the fitness test will be conducted only once and no second chances will be given.
According to the police force, the Entry Fitness Test is a critical component of the recruitment process, assessing candidates’ physical readiness to serve in the RSIPF.
Candidates are advised to wear appropriate sports attire and to report any medical conditions that may affect their performance to the physical instructors during the briefing.
The list of successful candidates has been made available through multiple platforms, including email notifications, the official RSIPF Facebook page, Honiara police stations, provincial police stations, and at the Rove Police Headquarters.
RSIPF Recruitment officials encouraged all shortlisted candidates to arrive on time and to strictly follow instructions on the day of the test.
The RSIPF Recruitment Campaign 2025/2026 has attracted strong nationwide interest, with hundreds of young Solomon Islanders competing for the opportunity to join the country’s police force.
