Former MP for West Kwara’ae Sam Iduri regained his parliament seat with a winning margin of just 74 ballots.
The result was announced by the returning officer at Auki on Saturday afternoon.
He over run his runner up, Pr Clement Oikali, with one of the slimmest of winning margins.
The two candidates went neck-to-neck until the counting ended yesterday.
Sixteen candidates contested the West Kwara’ae seat.
This would be Iduri’s third term in parliament.
