A man was found dead this morning in one of the buildings at the BP area in Gizo, Western Province.
According to initial reports, the deceased may have collapsed due to cardiac arrest.
Earlier in the morning between 8 and 9am he was seen sitting in front of the door by some people who are also working at the building.
The deceased who is in his late 20s used to work as a security guard at that building.
The deceased is said to be of Micronesian and Sikaiana origin who left behind two children.
According to the relatives of the deceased resided in Titiana village and also had some health condition that may have contributed to his death.
Gizo Police Officers attended the scene and transported the body to Gizo Hospital where a postmodern is being conducted.
Police are investigating the matter.
