Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) will officially hand over a Student Wellbeing Project and Counselling Centre to Betikama Adventist College (BAC) next month.
The announcement was declared to the BAC Bevan Tutuo on Tuesday during a courtesy visit by representatives from the Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) Australia and ADRA Solomon Islands.
The handover ceremony is scheduled to take place at the school on Wednesday, the 21st of May 2025.
The visit was made possible by Mr. Gabriel Sembrano, International Partnership Programme Manager from ADRA Australia, along with ADRA Solomon Islands Country Director Mr. Leyn Eliezer Gantare, Finance Director Ms. Natalie Golo, and Communication/MEAL Officer Mr. Denver Newter.
Mr. Gantare expressed his appreciation to Principal Tutuo for taking time out of his busy schedules to meet with the ADRA team and discussed the upcoming project handover.
In response, Principal Tutuo thanked the ADRA Australia and ADRA Solomon Islands for their visit and expressed gratitude for funding the completed project, which he said will have a significant positive impact on the school.
The Betikama Student Wellbeing and Counselling Project is funded by the Thrift family in Australia, administered through ADRA Australia, and implemented by ADRA Solomon Islands with the support of the Betikama school administration.
