Following the conclusion of the Honiara Rugby Union Association (HRUA) Easter 7s 2025, the association is set to host another major rugby competition this month.
HRUA confirmed that the Men’s 15s competition is set to kick off on Thursday May 1st at the Town Ground Rugby Stadium, West Honiara.
The competition will feature a total of 10 teams vying for the coveted title.
The 10 teams include; Avaiki RC, SINU RC, SOSA RC, Osotasi Leopards RC, Malaita Crusaders RC, Matangiki RC, Henderson Hammerheads RC, Diesel RC, Islanders RC and Tavuli RC.
Meanwhile, after the successful completion of the Rugby 7s recently teams and clubs only have two solid weeks to get into shape before the Rugby 15s competition kick off this week.
The official draws for the Men’s 15s were conducted during the opening ceremony of the Easter 7s last Sunday with matches expected to be held on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, depending on the schedule.
