The Bless Innovation Training Centre (ITC) has completed its first Academic Writing Training held at the Coronation School recently.
The two weeks intensive training equipped participants with essential academic writing skills, including how to structure arguments, cite sources, and communicate ideas clearly and precisely.
The sessions were led by the esteemed trainer, Dr. John Iromea. His engaging and insightful teaching made complex techniques accessible and practical.
The initiative was spearheaded by Richard Pilapitu, founder of Bless ITC, whose dedication to transformative education continues to impact eager learners in the Solomon Islands.
Guest speaker Charles Kafa from the Ministry of Education and Human Resources applauded the participants’ dedication and highlighted the broader significance of the training.
“Today’s achievements are not the end; they are a gateway,” he said, adding; “because they serve as a fundamental tool for influencing ideas, shaping policy, and building a strong society.”
He highlighted the long-term value of communication skills, stating, “In church ministry, business, government, or education, your ability to write clearly and think critically will enhance your impact.”
He motivated the participants to apply their knowledge and keep improving their writing skills.
