AS preparation gets underway in Gizo, Western Province ahead of the upcoming health conference, contractor JED Enterprise Company LTD has stepped in to assist.
JED’s support includes groundwork clearance on site around the MSG building to ensure the conference runs smoothly and orderly.
JED is also lending a hand in the town’s ongoing road upgrade works, aimed at improving accessibility and traffic flow for both residents and visiting delegates as advised by the Western Provincial Government (WPG).
According to JED Project Manager Frank Lui, the road improvements are expected to ease congestion and present a more organized town environment during the event.
The road upgrade will start Thursday and it will begin from Gizo Provincial Headquarter main road to PT109, Mr. Lui said.
Community members have welcomed JED’s involvement, saying the dual effort not only boosts the success of the health conference but also leaves lasting infrastructure benefits for Gizo.
The health conference is expected to bring together medical professionals, government representatives, and development partners from across the country to address health challenges and share solutions for the Western Province and beyond.
The conference will run from Monday 25th to 29th August this month.
