The Solomon Islands is set to host Group A of the second round of the OFC Women’s World Cup qualifiers, following Friday’s draw in Auckland, New Zealand.
The group will feature New Zealand, Samoa, Solomon Islands, and the winner of the Round One preliminary play-offs with the matches scheduled for February 27, March 2, and March 5, 2026.
Group B will take place in Fiji, with Papua New Guinea, Vanuatu, Fiji, and New Caledonia all competing for a place in Round Three.
The format sees top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals.
Round Three, including the semi-finals and final, will be held in New Zealand from April 7–18, 2026 with the two finalists set to compete for a spot at the FIFA Women’s World Cup.
The winner will qualify directly for Brazil while the runner-up will enter the FIFA Intercontinental Playoff.
Meanwhile, Round One will be held in the Cook Islands from November 28 to December 1, 2025, featuring Tonga, Tahiti, Cook Islands, and American Samoa.
The winner of this stage will join Solomon Islands in Group A.
