More than 85 dedicated Adventist literature evangelists and their Area Managers gathered at Tui Ridge Park, Rotorua, New Zealand, for an inspiring eight-day Training Summit.
The event was held from August 26 to September 2.
Participants travelled from across the South Pacific, including Australia, to be part of the summit and were equipped for greater service.
The summit featured a strong line-up of international speakers.
Dr. Brad Kemp, CEO of Adventist Media, challenged participants to distinguish between what is urgent and what is truly important, sharing practical insights on prioritising life, work, and time.
Pastor Greg Timmins led the daily devotionals, focusing on the essential elements of mission, while American-born Pastor Harley Southwell introduced Youth Rush—a dynamic new model where young people enthusiastically go door-to-door, sharing health and spiritual books in exchange for donations.
In addition, seasoned sales professionals from both New Zealand and Australia provided practical training on product knowledge, goal-setting, body language, sales techniques, and effectively handling rejection—valuable tools for strengthening each evangelist’s mission in the field.
As a result, participants left feeling renewed, equipped, and ready to serve their communities more effectively.
Excitement is also building for the release of newly printed books that will soon be shipped to the Pacific Islands, bringing hope and encouragement to many more families.
Solomon Islands was represented by Area Sales Manager, Adventist Media Network, Solomon Islands, Joshua Labuvolo and Alrick Timi.
“This summit has given us fresh energy and new skills to share life-changing literature,” said Mr Labuvolo and Mr Timi.
