Solomon Islands Kurukuru is back as the king of the men’s Futsal in the Pacific.
This came after team was crowned the champions of the OFC Men’s Futsal Cup 2025 following a thrilling showdown this evening at the Vodafone Arena against Tuvalu.
They thrashed Tuvalu 7-0.
The lads remained undefeated throughout the tournament after outclassing New Zealand 2-1 on Saturday, Fiji 5-2 on Sunday and drew 1-1 draw with Vanuatu on Monday.
Its Kurukuru’s 7th Oceania title and they boys were celebrating after the final whistle.
Kurukuru also received the fair team award which they shared with Tuvalu.
Alvin Hou receives the best player of the tournament and the golden glove award goes to Kurukuru goalkeeper young Sasau.
New Zealand received the silver medal while Fiji received the bronze medal during this evening’s presentation.
A massive welcome celebration is expected when the boys arrived back in Honiara later this week.
