Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) for Ward 15, Munda in Western Province has appealed to all MPAs to work together and stand united in addressing and progressing the welfare of the province.
Hon. Palin Veo, expressed this during the Sine Die Motion moved by the Western Provincial Premier during the final sitting of the Western Provincial Assembly in Gizo on Friday.
Hon. Veo noted that despite the economic uncertainties and unforeseen challenges, the province had demonstrated resilience and perseverance.
“Through collaboration and perseverance, we have managed to navigate these challenges and emerge stronger,” he told the assembly.
He further commended the ACAREA Government and administrative staff for their unwavering commitment and hard work amid resource constraints, expressing gratitude on behalf of his people of Ward 15, Munda.
Hon. Veo also thanked and acknowledged the Premier, the Speaker, Assembly Members, and staff for their dedication and service throughout the year.
He described the supplementary budget as not merely a fiscal adjustment but a strategic tool to meet the pressing needs of communities across the province.
“With these additional resources, we can improve essential services and enhance infrastructure, ensuring we provide for our people,” he said.
As the country is approaching the festive season, he extended his warmest greetings to the Speaker, the Premier, my honourable colleagues, administrative staff, and the people of Western Province. “May the season bring joy, peace, and renewed optimism,” Hon. Veo said.
He concluded by reaffirming his support for the motion and calling for continued unity and dedication toward the welfare and progress of the province.
