LEADER of Opposition Hon Matthew Wale has conveyed his condolences on the passing of former Malaita province premier Hon Daniel Suidani.
The Opposition Leader said Malaita province has lost a son and a true leader.
“ I convey my condolences to late Suidani’s family, his people in Fataleka and relatives,” he said.
Hon Wale said late Suidani was a firm leader who believed in the principles of true democracy.
“Solomon Islands has lost a fine leader. He will surely be missed but also remembered for his firm leadership during his tenure as the premier of Malaita province,” he said.
The former Malaita Premier and Member of the Provincial Assembly (MPA) for Ward 5 in West Baegu/Fataleka was called to rest on Tuesday morning 21st October 2025 at the National Referral Hospital (NRH) in Honiara.
Many who have known the former Malaita leader have expressed their condolences to Late Suidani’s families and relatives.
