Reggae fans in Honiara are in for a historic night of music and celebration as The Lucky Dube Band prepares to perform live at the Coral Sea Resort & Casino on Saturday, 15 November, marking the venue’s 10-year anniversary.
The performance will feature TK Dube (Thokozani Dube), eldest son of the late Lucky Dube, continuing the powerful legacy of one of Africa’s most beloved reggae icons. The band includes several of Lucky Dube’s original collaborators from The Slaves and One People Band — Thuthukani Cele, Andile Nqubezelo, Doods Molefi, Skipper Shabalala, along with the renowned vocal trio Letta Phala, Bellina Radebe, and Gabi Sel Mdluli.
The event promises a night of unity, rhythm, and tribute under the theme “One Love, One Night, One Legendary Vibe.”
The concert not only celebrates a decade of the Coral Sea Resort but also serves as a heartfelt tribute to the enduring influence of Lucky Dube’s music — a sound that continues to inspire across generations and borders.
