Two of the huge Christmas cones erected in Honiara continue has offered a space for many families and friends to spend their evenings together since the festive season.
Our Telekom and Ports have erected their own Christmas towers in the city’s main business district which continue to be a major attraction since the festive season leading up to the New year.
Our Telekom was the first to erect its Christmas tower in early December before Ports decided to erect and launch its 22 meters tall Christmas tower early last week which is standing in the heart of Point Cruz.
It is now an evening attraction for many families and friends who continue to flood the spot in large numbers each evening to admire the lights and make memories.
Most of those who visited the spot were armed with smartphone and still cameras allowing them to capture photos and videos.
Infront of the gate, street vendors are normally on standby to sell stick lights which is an instant attractions for young kids, where they normally carry with them into the space.

Even with the Christmas fever now over many families and friends continue to flood the two Christmas attractions each evening over the past days to celebrate the New year.
Many families have acknowledged Our Telekom and Ports for the Christmas towers which provided a wonderful opportunity for everyone to come together and enjoy the atmosphere together in a safe environment.
The Christmas towers offer a space that promotes unity and spirit celebration during the festive season and new year.
Its understood the Christmas towers will be pulled down after New year.
Meanwhile, some Honiara residents have also encouraged Honiara City Council (HCC) being the custodian of the city to consider erecting a huge Christmas tower in the future.
One of the space suggested is the space at the Honiara City Council round about.
