Western Province Premier Hon. Billy Veo has extended Christmas and New Year greetings to the people of Western Province while reflecting on the challenges and achievements of 2025.
In his end-of-year message, Premier Veo acknowledged the collective efforts of the Western Provincial Government (WPG), including his Executive Members, Speaker Ramrakha Talasasa, Members of the Provincial Assembly, Provincial Secretary Patrick Toiraena, and provincial administration staff for their continued commitment throughout the year.
“As we approach the end of 2025, we reflect on a year filled with both challenges and achievements,” Premier Veo said.
“Despite the difficulties we encountered, together we have demonstrated resilience, unity, and determination in advancing our province,” he added.
He reaffirmed the provincial government’s vision of building a united, prosperous, and sustainable Western Province, emphasizing transparent and accountable governance as a key priority.
“Our mission remains to serve our people through good governance and by creating opportunities for all,” he stated, while thanking public servants and residents for their cooperation and dedication, which he said continues to inspire confidence in the delivery of essential services across communities.
Premier Veo also highlighted the significance of the Christmas season, reminding citizens of the values of love, peace, humility, and service, drawn from the birth of Jesus Christ.
“Let us celebrate Christmas with gratitude and renew our commitment to working together for a better Western Province,” he said.
On behalf of the Western Provincial Government, Premier Veo wished all residents and their families a joyful Christmas and a prosperous New Year, filled with peace, love, and happiness.
He concluded by calling for God’s blessings and protection to be upon the people of Western Province as they move into the new year.
