The Floorball Federation of Solomon Islands (FFSI) National League men’s division is nearing its playoff stage following the conclusion of Round 8 matches over the weekend at the Friendship Hall.
With only two rounds remaining before the top-four playoffs, league leaders Skyriders FBC have already secured their semifinal spot after a dominant 12–2 victory over second-placed SINU Panthers FBC on Sunday.
In the other match of the day, SINU Knights climbed to third place with a convincing 6–1 win over USP Bullets.
The victory sees them sitting third on the standings with 14 points from eight matches.
In the women’s division, USP Bullets booked their place in the grand final after thrashing SINU Girls 18–1.
They will now await their opponents, who will be determined in the second semifinal between Unix and Skyriders Women, to be played at a later date.
Round 9 of the men’s division continues this Sunday, March 1, with SINU Knights taking on Unix at 3:30pm, followed by USP Bullets facing SINU Panthers.
The round will conclude with Skyriders up against Moonwalkers at 4:30pm, with all matches set to be played at Friendship Hall.
