The Laubaelelea Constituents have received STIHL chainsaw sets project recently, aimed at assisting communities in improving their homes and livelihoods.
Speaking on behalf of the recipients, community representative Wilfred Sukubaea expressed his gratitude, saying, “We are very happy that Honourable Ben Maenu’u responded positively to us.
“This is the first time we have been assisted by the Solomon Islands Government through a Member of Parliament (MP).”
The donation is expected to significantly enhance the efficiency of construction work, especially for families striving to upgrade their homes.
MP Maenu’u, who facilitated the donation, stressed the value of equipping communities with practical tools.
“This support is not just about equipment; it’s about enabling our people to build better homes and strengthen their communities,” he said.
Residents expressed hope that similar initiatives will continue, fostering stronger collaboration between government representatives and local communities for sustainable development.
