The new coalition has welcomed the return of Hon. Franklyn Wasi who officially joined the camp, strengthening its ranks of 28 members.
Hon Wasi was one of the 12 ministers who resigned recently.
A statement from the group said Hon. Wasi’s return is a show of solidarity and confidence. He was in Manila, Philippines last week for a meeting.
The coalition, now standing firm at 28 members, continues to consolidate its position, signalling unity and momentum at a critical time in the country’s political landscape.
The group has reiterated its call for the Prime Minister to do the right thing and to resign or call parliament.
“GNUT is hanging on to power with a minority government, lacking mandate and governing without majority confidence.”
