The 2025 Solrais Women’s Premier League (SWPL) champions, Henderson Eels, have learned their opponents for the 2026 OFC Women’s Champions League, which will be held in Honiara from June 26 to July 9.
The region’s top women’s club competition will feature seven teams, divided into two groups.
One group will consist of four teams, while the other will have three, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the semi-finals.
Henderson Eels, who reached the semi-finals in 2025, have been drawn into a challenging Group A. They will face last year’s finalists Hekari United (PNG), BA Women’s FC (Fiji), and Vanuatu champions Tafea FC.
Group B will see two-time defending champions Auckland United FC (New Zealand) take on Drehu Athletico Club (New Caledonia) and the winner of the qualifying tournament.
The qualifying tournament is scheduled for April 21–27 in the Cook Islands.
Host club Puaikura FC will compete against Nukuhetulu FC of Tonga and PanSa FC of American Samoa in a single round-robin format, with the winner advancing to Group B of the tournament.
Henderson Eels secured their place in the competition after successfully defending their SWPL title, marking their third consecutive appearance on the regional stage.
