Sunday School children and youth members of the Church of the Transfiguration Vura in East Honiara delivered a powerful reenactment of the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ on Good Friday, presenting the Seven Last Words in a deeply moving performance.
The presentation, staged at the Vura church field, drew a large crowd of parishioners and members of the public who gathered despite the unfavorable weather conditions.
Despite the rainfall the turnout reflected the strong faith and community spirit shared among worshipers and visitors alike.
Through drama and reflection, the young participants portrayed the final moments of Christ on the cross, reminding the audience of the true meaning of Good Friday.
Their dedication and confidence were evident throughout the performance, earning admiration from those in attendance.
The reenactment not only highlighted the commitment of the Sunday School and youth groups but also served as a moment of spiritual reflection for the wider community during the Easter observance.
