Solomon Islands is set to compete in the Oceania Zonal Volleyball Championship (OZVC) 2026, scheduled to take place in Guam from August 3 to 9 later this year.
Oceania Volleyball (OV) confirmed the list of participating countries in a statement yesterday, as preparations continue for the regional championship.
According to OV, the official entry list features 10 nations: American Samoa, Australia, Cook Islands, Guam, New Caledonia, Northern Mariana Islands, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, and Wallis and Futuna.
Each participating nation will field two teams in the competition — one men’s team and one women’s team — highlighting the inclusive nature of the tournament across both divisions.
The Solomon Islands Volleyball Federation (SIVF) has also confirmed Team Solomon Islands’ participation, marking another important step in the country’s continued involvement in regional volleyball competitions.
The OZVC 2026 is expected to provide a strong platform for Pacific nations to showcase their talent, build competitive experience, and strengthen regional sporting ties.
