The Western Provincial Government (WPG) under the leadership of Premier Billy Veo has hit back at reports of instability, insisting that Alliance for Change, Alignment and Rural Economic Advancement (ACAREA)- led government remains rock solid and fully intact until 2028.

An insider dismissed claims of a possible Motion of No Confidence (MONC), saying they are purely political and without substance.
“The ACAREA Government is united and focused. Premier Veo has already delivered tangible results and continues to pursue major projects and fulfill policies that will benefit our people,” the source told Solomon Star in an exclusive interview.
Key achievements highlighted include the recent consolidation of the Western Provincial Investment Corporation (WPIC) and to other which qualifies Western Province for the 2025/2026 Provincial Capacity Development Fund (PCDF).
“ACAREA’s vision is still on track—projects like the Gizo Road, improved water access, and other developments are coming. Veo’s leadership is intact and will not be shaken.
All these efforts – past and present successive government administration are for the benefit of the people of Western Province. The beneficiaries are our communities,” the source stressed.
The insider further denied allegations of unfulfilled financial promises to executive members, describing them as “political lies.”
“For the record, Premier Veo’s Government is performing strongly. All this talk of instability is just politics.
“The ACAREA Government remains united, firm, and committed to delivering services and development for the people of Western Province until 2028,” the source declared.
