Most of the churches in the country will be celebrating the holy week and Easter week starting with Palm Sunday celebrations today.
In Honiara, youth and Sunday school ministry from Anglican’s All Saints Church will put on some dramas to remember the Palm Sunday.
Palm Sunday marks the biblical event when Jesus rode on a donkey.
Anglican Church of Melanesian communication Officer, Aldrin Peloko told Sunday Star the Sunday school and youth ministry from All Saints will stage some skits and dramas.
“The dramatization of such events reminds us on the work of Christ and how people reacted to his ministry until his death on the cross.”
He said he believed other religions also remember the events in various other ways.
“It is time that all Christians to come together to remember the last days of the ministry of Christ before he ended it up on the cross.”
