Auki primary school (APS) students have been told to commit themselves in their studies to achieve better.
This was highlighted by the APS head teacher Raphael Angii when addressing grade six students, parents and guardians who attended the 2016 prize giving and closing ceremony at the APS school hall on Wednesday.
He told the students to respect their school commitment to achieve their goals and aspirations through education in the future.
On the same note, he also appealed to parents to commit to their children’s education by meeting the cost of their children’s education and other necessities for the good of the students.
Not only that but he also called on the parents to work together with the teachers and school board to create a school environment that is conducive for students to learn.
The 2016 APS closing and prize giving day was marked successfully yesterday afternoon with the theme “Excel with Sacrifice”.
