ST AUGUSTINE’S Parish in Fa’asitoro, Auki, Malaita province was alive with joy and blessings over the weekend as Sunday School teachers and children gathered for the much-anticipated Parish Sunday School Rally 2025.
The three-day event, held from Friday 26th to Sunday 28th, brought together children and teachers from across the parish, including Rade, Oibola, Niu Kaloka, Auki Island, Lilisiana, Fa’asitoro, and Sasale.
Parish Administrator, Fr. John Adai, led the program with uplifting talks and celebrated Mass for the young faithful, guiding them in prayer and strengthening their spiritual journey.
Each day’s momentum grew as children joined in song, prayer, learning, and fellowship, showcasing the vibrant faith and unity of the parish community.
The highlight of the rally came on Sunday, with a beautiful liturgy led by the Fa’asitoro Sunday school children and teachers.
Their active participation reflected the spirit of the parish’s commitment to nurturing the next generation in faith and service.
Speaking at the closing, Fr. Adai commended the dedication of Sunday school teachers across the parish and encouraged parents to continue supporting the faith formation of their children.
“Our children are the future of the Church. Through their joy and faith, they remind us that God is truly good all the time,” he said.
The rally not only strengthened the bonds of faith among parishioners but also reaffirmed Auki Parish’s role as a center of Christian life and community in Malaita Province.
