The anniversary of the ascension of Baha’u’llah is celebrated today – 29 May 2014.
A statement from local Bahai community said it is a special time for the Solomon Islands Baha’i community to meet, through prayer and meditation in the spiritual realm, with the Source of their light and guidance, to seek to obtain a deeper appreciation of His purpose.
Last Friday the local Baha’i community also celebrated the international day of the Declaration of the Bab today, which began 23 May 1844.
He was the martyr for-runner of the Baha’i Faith.
It was a Holy Day and work was suspended for the members during that day.
