Temotu Premier Fr Brown Beu says that his government has established significant developments during his term in office.
Beu said with the help of national government, infrastructure development was improved as compered previous years.
“These achievements show the stability of my government and of course the help national government through those funds are channeled through provincial government to established projects.
“My government is also responsible to build staff houses and renovation of buildings that are deteriorate since Lata was established.”
Beu revealed that a new market house nears completion at Lata wharf to help market vendors from north east coast particularly Malo, Neo and other surrounding villages.
“We are able to achieve few things through hard work of my government with the help of national government through the ministry of provincial government and institutional strengthening.”
Meanwhile market vendors told this paper, that the current government has recognised their need to build a proper market place.
Vendors said that it is important to have this market house to ensure they display their food crops at a hygiene area.
