A memorable hat-trick for Boyers infront of home crowd
Under the loud cheers of the Solomon Islands local football crowd, Rovu Boyers delivered a performance that fans will remember for a long time with the South Island United when they beat PNG Hekari 4-1 at the National Stadium in Honiara.
Rovu Boyers performance against PNG Hekari is phenomenal as he bagged three goals in the match. He score the equalizer in the 16 minutes when his team needed him the most.
Rovu Boyers stepped up when his team needed him most. After receiving a clever pass near the edge of the box, he calmly struck the ball past the goalkeeper to score the South Island equalizer, bringing South Island team and supporters back to life.
The stadium erupted as fans chanted his name. From that moment on, Boyers looked determined to make the day special.
As the game continued, both sides battled hard through midfield. The tension grew as the clock ticked into the second half.
In the 65th minute, Boyers struck again. Timing his run perfectly, he met a cross inside the penalty area and fired the ball into the net to give his team their third goal of the match.
The crowd roared with excitement as they realized they were witnessing a special performance from the boy who was once played for the Solomon Islands.
But Boyers was not finished yet. In the 79th minute, he completed a memorable hat-trick. After a quick corner kick, the ball fell to him inside the box.
Without hesitation, he slotted it past the goalkeeper to seal his third goal of the day. The stadium exploded with celebration as teammates rushed to congratulate him.
At the final whistle, Rovu Boyers was deservedly awarded Player of the Match after his incredible performance in front of the home fans.
Speaking to local media after the match, Boyers could not hide his excitement.
“I am super happy that I scored a hat-trick in front of the home crowd,” he said with a big smile.
“This is also my first hat-trick in the Pro-League, and it makes it even more special to do it here at home.”
