Bank South Pacific (BSP) will set up another agency in Santa Ana Island, Makira Province soon.
This is to stop people of Santa Ana travelling to Kirakira for make cash deposits and withdrawal.
The date to unveil this new agency will be announced by the bank management later.
The move came following BSP customers on the island continue to face transport difficulties to travel to Kirakira during bad weather.
BSP Country Manager, David Anderson said, BSP is concern with its customers in Santa Ana Islands so by having this agency at their doorstep would ease the burden to travel to Kirakira.
“By having this agency there, it should help people there access banking services at their door steps rather than spending a lot of money traveling to Kirakira,” Mr Anderson said.
