PARISHIONERS of Christ the King parish in East Honiara have farewelled 2014 with an encouraging message.
The service was held at the church compound last Wednesday night purposely for them to confess their sins before entering New Year.
Parish priest Fr Gabriel Fo’oa said it was an important time to leave all their sins and past doing’s at the feet of Jesus as they enter New Year.
“Christians must confess their past mistakes and made promise not to repeat again,” Fr Fo’oa said.
He also highlighted that Christian’s must enter New Years with new mindsets, good working relationship with the church and live a new life.
“They must build Godly relationship in their families like Joseph and Mary.
“Mary and Joseph was an example of a happy family that God favoured and they live according to his law until the birth of Jesus,” the priest said.
He encouraged all Christians that it is time to build good relationship with God in families.
