The Choiseul Bay Provincial Secondary School (CHYPSS) has released important information regarding the start of the 2026 academic year, including registration, class availability and transfer application deadlines.
According to a statement issued by the school administration, the academic year will officially commence on Monday 26th January 2026, with registration for new and returning students beginning on the same day.
Parents and guardians are advised to ensure that all necessary preparations are made prior to the start of the school year.
The school also highlighted that applications for student transfers will close on Friday 30th January 2026.
Families wishing to transfer their children to the school are encouraged to submit their applications before the deadline.
However, the administration warned that spaces are no longer available in form one, two and five, indicating that enrolment in these classes is closed.
Additionally, the school emphasized that returning students with outstanding fees must settle it at the time of registration, reinforcing the importance of clearing all dues to avoid disruptions in attendance.
The administration also urged parents and guardians to comply with these dates and requirements to ensure a smooth start to the new academic year.
