The annual Solomon Islands Schools Choral Festival is back.
Organisers of the Choral Festival are happy to announce the plans for the upcoming choral festival, scheduled for the 3rd to the 5th of July.
The Choral Festival rehearsals begin on Monday 18/06/18 at 2-4pm, Chung-Wah School Hall, the organisers said.
Rehearsals will continue at the same time at Chung-Wah School unless advised otherwise.
The Solomon Voices Choir in collaboration with MANAHENA EVENTS, are excited to begin planning for the event that will attract a few International Artists.
The Organisers understand how important this Choral Festival is to the Youth of Honiara, and that the choral festival is a space for positive youth empowerment.
Over the years, the Choral Festival has grown from strength to strength, where the last Choral Festival saw a 600 member Choir combine with the prestigious Pasifika Voices Choir of Fiji.
Two (2) members of the Solomon Voices Choir, later joined the Pasifika Voices Choir in Fiji, as they recorded for the Disney Animated Film, MOANA.
Proceeds from the door takings of the last film festival, went into a Scholarship fund run by the Solomon Voices Choir.
“We look forward to presenting more information in the coming days.”
