CHRISTIANS are urged to rise up and proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ.
South Sea Evangelical Church (SSEC) Honiara church senior Pastor Clyde Soai made the call during New Year’s night celebrations.
“It is important for Christians to rise up and move forward, preaching the gospel to those who are spiritually in need,” Pr Soai said.
“As Christians if we rise up in our faith and build up our lives in God we can see great things can happened in our churches today,” he added.
He said Christians need to spend time with other Christians praying, sharing and discussing God’s word.
“Fellowship is a priority. It is good for Christians to commit their time and have fellowship and praying every day for their Christian lives to grow.
“It is best to carry God’s presence to your workplaces and everywhere you go.
“Church leaders this year you need to arise and put God’s word to be your priority.
“Every church leader you have to feed your sheep with God’s word daily,”
Pr Soai encouraged Christians to rise up and fulfilled God’s plan and purpose for their lives.
“Put God first in everything you do so you can find success in your lives.
“If you arise in your faith and move on preaching his Gospel, greater things can happen.”
Pr Soai also encouraged church leaders from other denominations to arise in their ministries and take God’s word to be their priority.
