Newly elected leaders of the United Church Assembly were reminded to commit to their working relationship with the church.
The leaders were elected during the church’s annual synod that ended at Koleasi village in northeast Guadalcanal, Thursday.
Guadalcanal United Church superintendent Rev Philip Kaegasi made the reminder in his remarks.
Kaegasi said it’s important for new leaders to work according to the church’s working structure.
“You have to focus on cooperating with church members in all activities and programmes,” he said.
“You also must look at some of the weaknesses that the church needs to work on and improve,” Kaegasi added.
He said as church leaders, their role is to continue praying and feed God’s people with the Word daily.
