Central Kwara’ae Constituency (CKC) in Malaita has promised to support the remote Busufosae Community High School (CHS) with internet connectivity.
The support will include the set up of an internet lab, the provision of computers, Starlink connectivity and a generator for power.
The funding announcement was made by Ricky Fuo’o, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Central Kwara’ae during a visit to the school over the weekend.

During the visit, the MP engaged with church leaders, chiefs, teachers, and students from surrounding communities.
“This visit signifies my commitment to actively listen to the concerns of my constituents.
“I firmly believe in the transformative power of education, which remains a top priority in my development plan for our constituency,” he told the gathering.
He emphasized the importance of access to digital learning resources for both students and teachers, particularly in isolated communities.
“I am pleased to announce that our constituency office will fund Busufosae Community High School with essential educational resources, including internet lab equipment and connectivity,” he declared.
This initiative is expected to enhance educational opportunities for the students and uplift the entire community.
