THE High Court and the Magistrates’ Court will be closing its doors for the public for the long Easter break as of Friday.
The Magistrates’ Court will resume its normal service and court sittings on Tuesday next week while the High Court will remain close until April 25.
That is when the Easter vacation ends.
The registry office at the High Court will however be open to the public on Tuesday (April 22) next week after the Easter holidays, but for only an hour in the morning which is from 9am to 10 am and in the afternoon from 1pm to 2pm.
Criminal and civil hearings and full service of the High Court registry office will resume on April 28.
Magistrates’ courts in the Central, Malaita, Western and Eastern will also close its doors until the Easter break ends Monday.
The courts will open for the public on Tuesday.
