Young boy in stable condition
A 10-year-old from Jejevo Katova district, in Isabel province is lucky to be alive after he was attacked multiple times by a crocodile while floating on a tire tube on Friday.
Kingstone Siofi was swimming with his friends on a floating tube when the deadly beast emerged from nowhere and drag him.
Reports reaching this paper says the boy sustained injuries to his head, arms and backside.
He is now in stable condition following surgery operation on Sunday.
Dr Gravis Vahia confirmed they have conducted an operation where the victim received stitches to his arms, head and backside.
He said following the operation his condition is stable.
He is expected to recover after the wounds healed.
It was reported that the young boy survived the attack with a brave punch that unleashed the claw of the crocodile from further dragging him.
The strike paid a dividend as the reptile released him from its grip, a relative of the survivor said.
