TRANSPORT owners and taxi drivers in Auki town have commended Dalgro company for the road upgrading work so far to parts of Auki town.
During the Christmas and New Year period the contractor had been working hard to upgrade the roads.
Driver Lenix To’o told the paper that since work had started some roads in and around Auki had been fixed which is helping transport operators to move around.
He said, if only the roads are tar-sealed, it would be good.
Mr To’o said, most parts of Auki road still needs quick repair from Dalgro but he is thankful for their work so far.
“I thank Dalgro company for the Job well done so far and I look forward for the time when the roads are being tar-sealed.”
He urged landowners and Malaita Provincial Government to work together with Dalgro by allowing gravels and other resources for the upgrading of the Auki road.
