Reckless behaviour alleged to have been caused by former acting Director of Curriculum Development, Patrick Daudau, had been condemned as demoralising and demeaning and does not speak well of someone formerly responsible for a high public office.
Current Acting Director of Curriculum Development, Edwin Ha’ahoroa, had condemned as reckless the behaviour displayed by Daudau who Ha’ahoroa accused of insulting him and his family.
Ha’ahoroa said such intolerable and disrespectful behaviour displayed by Daudau especially being drunk was shameful and demeaning.
Ha’ahoroa alleged Daudau had unlawfully insulted his family, threatening violence after returning home from a social outing.
He said such action by someone in high public office like Daudau amounts to unprofessional conduct.
He said it demands severe disciplinary action by the relevant authorities.
Ha’ahoroa reminded Daudau that if he had been aggrieved by his work situation, then there are better ways of dealing with his grievances than resorting to violent behaviour.
Daudau could not be reached for comment on the allegations levelled against him. Comments are being sought.
