Reports reaching this paper said that the weekend’s shows were very quiet and peaceful as people were celebrating the country’s 37th Independence.
DMP’s front man Evin Rush told this paper that most of their fans based in Gizo turned up to witness the shows on Friday and Saturday night.
“The venue was packed with our fans in the Western Province.
“It was a quite show and the boys are enjoying every bit of this tour.
“It was a very peaceful Independence weekend here at Gizo,” the songster said.
He added that their trip to the Western Province was dubbed as an ‘International Holiday’.
“We have enjoyed this tour and it is really an international holiday,” he said.
Meanwhile, the band will be flying off to New Caledonia for the second time later on this year to launch their upcoming album.
