The Malaita Eagles Soccer team will again test their strength against the Malaita Kings FC in a friendly match schedule for this Thursday in Honiara.
The Eagles team manager Levi Filuala told this paper that the friendly match will be their last preparation before the Solomon Games Soccer tournament which is schedule to kick off on Friday just a day later.
Filuala said the last time the two sides meet three weeks ago at Aligegeo stadium in Auki, the Malaita Kings FC won the match.
This last friendly match will give the Eagels a good test before their national soccer title campaign.
The friendly match will be held at the SIFF Academy. However should be any changes in the venue for the match the public will be adviced.
The Eagle’s management has called on Malaitans in Honiara to come and support the team as they enter their final preparation.
The management is also calling on Malaitans who wish to make some donations to help the Malaita Eagels Soccer team to come forward.
“The team is currently in a great need for financial assistance to assist them during the course of the tournament.”
